My tombstone will read thisThis will always be my favourite photo in the whole wide world!
The rockfall is not fucking around at all this season. Condolences to the families, that’s really awful. No one goes climbing expecting not to come home.
My heart goes out to the friends and family… A sad, and sharp reminder that no matter how safe, careful and experienced you are tragedy can always strike. Climber friends make extra sure to let your loved ones know how you feel before each trip, and stay safe. Rest in peace fellow climber….Rest in peace.
I was out in Yosemite when it happened. We drove by a helicopter, search and rescue team and some other emergency response vehicles and knew something terrible was going on. What made it especially tragic is that it occurred less than a week apart from another local climbers death. My condolences to the family and friends of all of those involved. It’s so scary to think this could happen to any one of us.

So my boyfriend broke a crucial hold on Methane (which would not be the first classic problem he’s broken haha)
Our friend Z got the first send after the loss of Methanes giant knob.
Problem is Methane v5 located at Palm Springs Tramway
